Unbezahlte Werbung. Die wunderbare Mel wählte als Thema ihres Circle Journals das Thema „Du bist schön“. Ich war ja sowieso total geflasht, als Mel zusagte, bei dieser ersten Runde CJ dabei zu sein – das Grinsen bekam ich kaum mehr aus dem Gesicht 😉

We did our first round of Circle Journals starting in last year’s October and my friend Mel chose the theme „You are beautiful“.

Ich liebe das Format dieses wunderschönen Buchs so sehr! Außerdem kam mir natürlich total entgegen, dass hier ganz unterschiedliche Papiere verwendet wurden, so konnte ich mir überlegen, welche Techniken gerne unterbringen wollte.

I totally fell in love when I’ve seen this Minibook for the first time. She chose different kinds of paper as pages for this book, so we could play with different kinds of media in this book.

Neben den momentan so typischen Aquarellfarben habe ich auch mit meiner Minc gespielt und die Ink Screens von Heidi Swapp erstmals verwendet. Mit diesen komme ich aber aktuell noch nicht so zurecht, wie ich es mir vorstelle. Ich glaube, da muss ich noch etwas üben *g*

I chose my very favorite water colors and also my minc for this spread. For the first time I used my Ink Screens by Heidi Swapp but I think I have to try it more often.

Vor kurzem konnte ich das Buch nochmals in Händen halten, da Mel es zum Scrappies Workshop-Wochenende in München dabei hatte. Es war sowieso wie ein kleines Klassentreffen, da auch Steffi und Alex dort waren. Schade, dass Marjan, Steffi und Stephanie nicht da sein konnten…..

When Mel came to Munich a few days ago she took the book with her so also Steffi and Alex could took a look at my spread and all the other ones. We missed Marjan, Steffi and Stephanie a lot.
